Unaccompanied minor service & Young passengers traveling alone service

Unaccompanied minor (UM) service applied to children age from 06 to under 12 years old, in normal health, and do not require special or medical assistance during the itinerary.

Young passengers traveling alone (YPTA) service is for passengers aged from 12 to under 14 traveling without parents or guardians in flight.

1. Flight route applied:

This service is available on:

• Vietnam’s domestic and international direct routes.
• Vietnam - Europe (connect at ALA) and return flights.

2. Class applied:

Apply for all classes.

3. Booking channels:

• Vietjet booking agents/ booking offices.

4. Booking time:

24 hours prior to scheduled time of departure: applied to all channel

Within 24h to scheduled time of departure: applied to last minutes booking office and at airport.

5. Transportation conditions

UM service:

• Applied to children aged from 06 to under 12 years old, in normal health, and do not require special or medical assistance during the itinerary.
• Parents or children’s legal representative are requested to provide children’s symptoms that affecting their health: for example, allergies to food, drinks, or other allergies that directly affect their health to record in the booking..
• Parents/Legal representative will directly take their children to the departure airport at least 02 hours before the scheduled departure time; complete all preflight procedures for children, agree to sign indemnification agreement with Vietjet, and wait until the plane takes off. Parents or representatives are requested to keep in contact with Vietjet throughout the itinerary.
• The person in charge of picking the child up at arrival airport are requested to present before STA and all authority documents proving from Parents/Parents/Legal Representative. declare. The person is requested to maintain clear phone contact with Vietjet throughout the itinerary.

YPTA service:

• Applied to children aged from 12 to under 14 years old.
• Parents/Legal representative will directly take their children to the departure airport at least 02 hours before the STD; complete all preflight procedures for them, agree to sign indemnification agreement with Vietjet, and wait until the plane takes off.
• Parents or representatives are requested to keep in contact with Vietjet throughout the itinerary.

Other conditions:

• Self check-in procedures including Web, Mobile, Kiosk Check-in is not allowed for unaccompanied minor service.
• Emergency seat selection is not applied for unaccompanied minor service.
• Please download and complete the service form; then printing 03 copies, sending to the Vietjet’s staff when checking in.
